Research Assistant
Chibuzor Happiness Obi is an Economics graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, with a research interest in development economics, and a specific focus on trade and international development, multidimensional poverty and poverty dynamics, women and development, and the macroeconomics of emerging economies. She completed an online course on Research Writing facilitated by Author Aid, an academic community empowering researchers in the Global South. This experience has provided her with a strong foundation in academic writing and research methodology.
She is currently pursuing a MicroMasters course on Data, Economics, and Design of Policy at MITx, where she is further developing her skills in data analysis, economic modeling, and the implementation of randomized control trials (RCT). These valuable tools enable her to make evidence-based decisions and contribute to informed policy-making. As a Research Assistant at DIaDERC, she is committed to leveraging knowledge and research to transform lives and contribute to positive change in society.
