Since its inception, the DePECOS Institutions and Development Research Centre (DIaDeRC) has been committed to empowering African researchers in diverse ways, particularly by strengthening their capacities. Through engaging discussions, workshops, publications, access to funding, educational materials, and training, we aim to equip researchers with the tools they need for success and have a rewardable scholarly career.
Our African Scholars Mentorship Network (ASMN) Series 3.0, which is a Free Virtual Grant Winning Bootcamp, presents another significant opportunity for participants. We firmly believe that by providing researchers with the necessary training and resources, we can catalyze socio-economic and environmental transformation across Africa and beyond.
Participants in Series 1.0 and Series 2.0 have already witnessed a profound shift in their research approach, mindset, and methodology. They have developed the skills to collaborate effectively, expand their networks, conduct research, and secure research grants.
Thus, with Series 3.0, we are taking things to the next level. Through this training, participants will:
– Learn from Grant Experts
– Access Valuable Resources
– Navigate the Grant Landscape
– Develop Winning Grant Proposals
– Cultivate a Supportive Network
– Gain Insights from Industry Experts on Collaboration
– Collaborate with our extensive network of almost 1000 in-house researchers to advance their research careers
– Access In-house Grant Opportunities and Collaborations
– Participate in our Virtual In-house Course Creator Program

By registering for Series 3.0, participants commit to meeting the requirements, such as attendance and taking the exercises, among others, to qualify for a certificate of completion and be added to the mentorship network.
