Patience Evans-Osabuohien

Mrs Patience Evans-Osabuohien is a graduate of Business Administration from Delta State University, Abraka (2003). After her national youth service at the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, she worked as Secretary/Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at Dabmol Computers Nigeria Limited, Lagos (2003-2004) and GBL Audiovisuals, Ikeja, Lagos (2005). Later, she worked at Francis Obigbor and Co (Legal & Consultancy Services), Lagos from February to September 2006 as an Administrative Manager.

Afterward, she ventured into business and started ECOS Plus Ventures as the Managing Director (2006) and later went overseas where she had a German Language Course (B1) at Internationale Bund e.V., Hamburg, Germany (between January and September 2013) and Integration Course (Leben in Deutschland) at Bundesamt fur Migration und Fluchtlinge, Cologne, Germany (between November 2013 and February 2014). Upon returning to Nigeria in 2016, she continued in business as the MD/CEO of DEPECOS and Sons Company Limited.

Given her passion and enthusiasm for Human Resource utilisation, she did her M.Sc in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management at. Covenant University (2020-2022) and graduated with Distinction. She took her passion further by writing a professional examination and qualified as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personal Management (ACIPM) in 2022. Also, she coordinates the survey for a joint research project on the implications of the religious movement on societal development in Nigeria, which is a collaboration among researchers at Covenant University, Nigeria, and the University of Chicago, USA.
